nice plane tro build had a few problems with the wing stringer notches other than that it's going well
trying jap tissue for the first time quite impressed with it
Looks good, quite a realistic looking beast with all of those wing stringers to keep the wing surfaces properly shaped, plus those deep gun troughs. Nice covering job too.
thanks hopefully will fly on rubber aiming to get the cesna flying first before i atempt this one works buisy now and the boss indoors got me decorating so it will probabbly be a christmas holliday project
the clay in the nose was just for some test glides i ended up with a pile on the cowl too the clay in the spinner soom came loose ended my trimming flight's i think ill weigh it up and try swapping it for lead
hey supercrusier
currently i have some 1/4 " in there i bought from sam's models it's only single looped im not sure if to get some wider rubber or to double loop some 1/4"
My knowledge of rubber powered 400 series Guillow kits is very limited.
Just curious about what works.
My guess is that double loop (4 strands) of 1/4" is a good place to start.
Prop looks too small for that application....8 inch prop might be better...
just a guess.
hey i just took my time with them i used a sandpaper normally used for metal in uk it's known as wet and dry super fine grit works better wet p1200 and p 400 grit
the trough's sat nice in the stringers bit of bending here and there and then applied tissue to the plastic
hope it helps
