I've been working on a Cessna 180 kit. It's been going well so far.
I'm a slow builder.Using Testors in the green tube.
I like the quality of the balsa, and the die cut parts.
I didn't take any pics while building the rudder / stabilizer.

Build a few of the older Sterling smaller kits and you'll REALLY appreciate the quality of Guillow's die cut kits, not to mention everything else that is better than Sterling. Kinda difficult to build a 21" span model, when they give you an 18" span plan.Scott wrote:I like the quality of the balsa, and the die cut parts.

Difficult to use parts cut from 1/32" sheets, when they're supposed to be 1/16". I've been through it all with them. Pretty much like pure scratch building, except for you get a few plastic molded parts.
