Thoughts on how to log time spent?

I'm building my first stick and paper plane. I'm tracking my time with a basic recording of time spent in each session. Any thoughts on segmenting this, or how to detail the time a little more? I'd be interested in a pic of a notebook as an example.

Take start work, stop work pictures with your phone. That will time stamp everything and give you pictures if you want to post your progress somewhere.
